DUBAI

DUBAI is one of the most and quickest growing industrial-cities in the globe, of course, Tokyo comes first. But, we should say now, Dubai is really beautiful, as a city. I have been to Dubai many times, but The more I go there, the less I like it. I have my own reasons, yet there are some who may disagree with me.

Speaking of Tokyo, I have read quite many books about this stunning city, which oneday I'd love to visit, and I will surely talk about it on the right time. Many advantures and sad stories will be posted regarding "Where Tokyo fits in the league of beautiful cities?"

The reason why I am writing this post is that I saw two pictures of Dubai in one of my friend's emails - so I thought I'd write about it. A decent post needed, you know.

The first time I went to Dubai was some time around 1996, there were a whole lot of constructions by that time.

It's so surprising, isn't it? By looking at the picture above, it's unbelieveable. After only one decade, a new City was built. Ten years ago or so, if you had been there, you'd have had nowhere to go, except for those three buildings. By the way, this picture was taken in 1991, so what ya think?

WOW! Oh my word. It's really amazing - look at the difference between 1991 and 2005.. Anyway, I'll let you enjoy watching these pictures, while reading my main point about this whole idea of this post.

My point is, a simple question, which is "What advantages/disadvantages would you say that DUBAI has/had since 1991 till present - and why?"

Please my dears, we need to see the ups and downs of this whole idea. Thanks!
