1st Islamic economy university in the world to be established in Kuwait

(MENAFN) Chairman of the International Investment Group said that the world's first Islamic economy university is to be established in Kuwait with the aim of coping with growing need for specialists in this area, KUNA reported.

The Chairman said that the establishment of the university comes to meet demand for specialists and experts in Islamic economy, as well as the increasing number of Islamic investment companies and banks.

He noted the transformation of traditional banks to Islamic banking, saying that over the past three years, the Gulf region had witnessed the founding of scores of investment companies and banks that worked in accordance with the Islamic Sharia (teachings).
